I am a learner. I am passionate about technology and art. I especially love the visual arts - photography and painting. I dabble in watercolor, alcohol inks, and rosemaling (Norwegian painting). I also love creating jewelry. Art relaxes me and helps me to refocus my life.
My love of technology fits me because I love challenges and being persistent. I like being able to master the device and get it to do what I want it to do. Being creative on my MacBook Pro or iPad is what I love to do. I have recently mastered Procreate on my iPad and enjoy creating digital art.
I retired in 2007 after teaching K-2 for 35 years. I consulted until recently providing curriculum writing, speaking at conferences, authoring books, and providing training. As an Apple Professional Learning Specialist I trained teachers across the nation to use their MacBook or iPad devices creatively and effectively in their classrooms. I have also provided training on art techniques.
I have a wonderful, supportive husband. Two daughters and 4 grandchildren who love when I share new apps or projects with them. What do I do on a daily basis? When I’m not traveling or training, I'm enjoying our Florida home, walking on the beach, or spending time with family and friends.
